What Is the Catawba Two Kings Casino Project?
The Catawba Two Kings Casino is a massive construction project in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. The finished casino complex will include an introductory casino set to open in 2026, a main casino complex set to open in 2027, three levels of covered parking, eleven different dining options, including a high-end steakhouse, eleven bars and a lounge, and a hotel.
This project is complex and requires knowledge of many different types of construction — from entertainment spaces to hospitality and industrial. Currently, the casino complex’s entire structure has been completed, with the final steel beam in place. Now, the project can continue with exterior work and an interior fitout, among other aspects.
What is Oaks Brothers’ Role in this Project?
Oaks Brothers, Inc. is a trusted exterior, fireproofing, and insulation contractor throughout the Southern U.S. Our role on this project is to ensure the building meets or exceeds all fireproofing requirements set by North Carolina’s fire prevention and building codes. In addition, we’ll be installing high-performance insulation to keep this building energy-efficient and applying specialty cladding and siding.
How Will This Project Affect North Carolina?
This project is a boost to North and South Carolina’s economy.
